After nearly three decades of playing on borrowed instruments, we made the transformative decision to purchase our own gamelan set. Now that the instruments are finally in our hands, we will inaugurate them through a time-honored Balinese tradition of seeking the blessing of the gods to protect our new and precious possessions.
Community involvement is integral to ceremonial traditions! Therefore we invite you to attend and participate in our commemorative instrument blessing ceremony starting at 4:00PM. A music and dance performance will follow directly.
This event is free and open to the public! RSVP to let us know you’re coming!
The fun continues at our SEASON LAUNCH RECEPTION at 6:00PM, sponsored by our friends at Bali Kitchen and Flatiron Wines, and featuring very special guest performances by Talujon Percussion and members of Nouveau Classical Project.
Tickets start at $25 for three drinks, yummy Balinese snacks and amazing music.
