2019 marks 30 years since our group first came together to learn and explore Balinese gamelan and dance. Over the years, we've had the fortune of growing through our valuable musicians and dancers, past and present, who are New Yorkers as well as from all parts of the country and all corners of the globe. We are also eternally grateful for the many teachers and artists who have shared their expertise, artistry and spirit with us.
In our various incarnations and locations, Dharma Swara has always strived to improve on our knowledge and skill of the Balinese performing arts with respect and joy - moreover, we are driven to share our passion with audiences near and far. We are only able to continue with this mission however, with your support.
