Vera Much is a composer and performer from Verona, New Jersey, currently based in Bushwick. Her fascination with Gamelan began at Bennington College where she joined a Javanese Gamelan, and has continued ever since. 

Currently, she sings and composes for her math-folk group, Chew Toy, and drums in rock 'n' roll band, Kissy Noises. Her background includes classical piano, chamber percussion, free jazz drumming, and electronic production.
