MUSIC

Meesh is a music lover and hobbyist from Long Island, NY, and this is their first experience playing in an ensemble. After seeing GDS perform at the Brooklyn Museum in May 2024, they learned that the ensemble rehearsed just a few blocks away from their house; a few months later, Meesh decided to join. They are particularly drawn to Balinese gamelan for its spontaneity, intense precision, and elements of ritual.

Meesh spends their free time making collages of all kinds, playing poker, and developing fragrances for their nascent perfume project, Hiero’s Apothecary.
