Slither into the Year of the Snake at the Hudson River Museum Lunar New Year Festival this Saturday, February 1, 11am–5pm!

All day long we’ll have exciting performances that are sure to delight visitors of all ages, from a lion dance, a tai chi demonstration, folk dances, and more! Best of all, performances are free with general admission!

Performance Schedule:
11:30am — Traditional Lion Dance
1pm — Chinese Folk Dances and Tai Chi Sword
3pm — Balinese Gamelan Music and Dance
4pm — Korean Sogo-chum

Experience the resonant sounds of Gamelan Dharma Swara as they perform traditional music for gamelan gender wayang, one of Bali’s oldest percussion ensembles. Known for its role in life-cycle rituals and entertainment, this ensemble will open with a traditional Balinese welcoming dance.
